This light house has featured in many movies and television shows, and is well known globally by the kid's TV series 'Round the Twist' based on the successful Paul Jennings books. Originally called the 'Eagles Nest Lighthouse', the Split Point Lighthouse is known locally as the “White Lady’ was built in 1891 and towers 34 metres above the coastline. It is well worth the visit with beautifully prepared walkways around the lighthouse and a cute cafe to get your sugar rush
